 Journey Home Ministries is a teaching, worship and music ministry of encouragement and exhortation. Although there is an evangelistic message, the content of this ministry is mostly directed toward challenging us all as believers to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus in all things. As we press forward in these last days, through trials and storms, both personally and corporately as the body of Christ, how important it is for us to remain focused and steadfast. We can get so caught up in the things and events around us, that we sometimes need to be reminded that, in fact, this world is not our home, that we are indeed on an exciting journey, an adventure that will eventually, yet most assuredly, lead us to our real home, as we follow the One who has already prepared the way. An outreach of Gold Country Calvary Chapel, this ministry utilizes an eleven-string guitar, original songs based on the Word of God and biblical principles, a touch of humour, and teaching with the emphasis on life application. Described as "a heavy message on a light note," Ted's acoustic style of music fits well in just about any situation and his approach to sharing his songs and heart is fresh, genuine, and uplifting. He is able to include worship songs along with his originals, which provides an excellent balance for a mid-week, Sunday morning, or evening service. Ted also travels as a guest speaker, teaching expository bible studies, as well as teaching at men's retreats, and conducting worship seminars and workshops.
